EXPLORING LONDON: PRIMROSE HILL

This is possibly my favourite place in London I found when exploring. I can't believe I had never been here or really known of it before but now I love coming here and try any excuse to.

 

Primrose Hill is next to Regent's Park and London Zoo in North London, you can also walk to and from the markets of Camden Town (which I did read more here ).

Enter the gates to the Hill and the path leads off in many directions all directing you to the top of the Hill or the entering/exiting gates. 

 

I can imagine the Hill in autumn with the auburn leaves falling to the ground.

In winter (hoping that it snows!) the snow on the branches would look beautiful and while walking down the path seeing snow either side covering the grass and the flickering lights in the days that night falls early, the frozen spider webs hanging from the side.

In Spring / Summer, the occasionally hot days we get in London, is beautiful to sit out on the grass and just relax!

 

When you finally get to the top, don't worry the Hill isn't that bad to walk up and if you think you can't just remember the view is totally worth it! Plus there are benches at the top where you can sit and rest while enjoying the view of the London Skyline.

.... Canary Wharf (the business district)

 You can see the whole of the London Skyline right in front you and on a clear sunny day it is amazing!

If anyone visits London this is a must see when exploring and recommend it to anyone visiting.

A QUICK DAY OUT IN LONDON

I love going into Central London, theres no secret about it, I thought I would share what I did when my family came to London for a quick trip! The first place we went to was Harrods in Knightbridge - I love the area and been passed it many times but can you believe I've never actually been into Harrods?!

 

 

 

 

After spending ages in Harrods (The Disney Store in particular) looking amazed at everything we headed to Covent Garden. It was a lovely sunny day so after walking around browsing the shops we went to Southbank and grabbed something to eat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even though I've been to these areas so many times I never get bored of seeing them again and I always take a picture or two.

Walking around London can get really tiring but then you have enough places to eat to refuel yourself up, maybe even over indulge, (but it's only one day its fine right?!) have a look at this interesting infographic 'to work it off' (Wimbledon style). VIEWS OF LONDON

'It's closer than you think' -

I live in West London and with Central London being about 30 minuets away from me you would think I would go there more often - I wish!

'If you can't beat them, join them' -

I always find myself taking loads of pictures when I'm in central acting like the many tourists there and this trip was no exception, especially as I finally got to go on the London eye again. I've been on it before twice before but never really appreciated it more or taken photos of the beautiful view of London it has.

 

I love the fact that I live in London, there's always so much to do and the fact I've only seen a small bit of what this massive city has to offer makes it more interesting and intriguing for me to stay and discover.
