TRAVEL TO: Paris, France

Paris, The City of Lights! I have been to Paris before, once on a trip to Disneyland when I was little and once again a few years ago into the actual city. I thought I will still mention it in this 'series' of where I would like to visit as I still would love to go again... and again and again!

When I went a few years ago, it's one of the places I knew I would love but when I got there it was even more amazing! I have blogged my travel pictures from that trip where I speak more about it:

For me I would mention the must things to see are attractions like The Lourve...

 ...and the Effiel Tower of course.

Definitely don't go without go up the Tower to see the views from the top. 

I found so many similarities to London but the Parisan culture has its differences with their whole lifestyle being much more relaxed and fashion style which I love.

TRAVEL TO: Ireland

St. Patrick's Day is coming up and as its Ireland's cultural celebration so I thought this blog post would fit in. Not only in Ireland is St. Patrick's Day highly celebrated but elsewhere like New York people go out and have huge parties - don't know why but why not end up having a great day! I can imagine all those pints of Guinness being poured in all the Irish bars amongst the local craic in that charming accent that everyone seems to love!

When you think about it there's loads to love about Ireland and I'm talking about those stereotypical things. True or not one day I hope to go to Ireland and find out what it is really like for myself.

 The Giant Causeway is top of the list when visiting.

It is an area of around 40,000 interlocking columns resulting from an ancient volcanic eruption. The whole of the Causeway coast in Northern Ireland has lots to do along the coast with it's get scenery walking along and seeing the valleys. There are also loads of castles/churches to see there plus Ireland also has loads of farm lands - gotta get those potatoes.

Valleys, farm lands etc.. is always so different for me (including when I went to Somerset in the west of England which you can read and see more here) because as I'm from London, I'm definitely a city person so it's so weird for me not to just see tall buildings everywhere with the sound of planes flying over and car horns going off in congestion.

Ireland isn't even that far from England so I would love to visit for a short break away. TRAVEL TO: Iceland

I feel like Iceland is such a remote place. I was wondering if I should visit Iceland but if I ever had the chance to I would. It's great to see what there town and culture is like from a remote place. As well as a great place to see the Northern Lights there is plenty more to see there such as the places history - everywhere has a interesting back story to it - volcanic areas of national parks & lakes and the Blue Lagoon.

From pictures like this the one above I see similarites comapred to Norway in the apperance of the town.

The main place to visit is Reykjavik where most of the history and happenings are as it is the main town but else where you can see beautiful natural landscapes. I would love to walk around, despite the coldness and see these places that are unique to Iceland.

Blue Lagoon with black volcanic rocks around. The man-made Blue Lagoon are rich in minerals therefore people who bathing in there is said to help people with skin diseases. There is also a operations based to find cures for skin diseases there using the water.

I wouldn't be much interested in the warming 'healing' water of the blue lagoon but what I would love to do which I've seen people do is try a snowmobile! The cold temperatures, remote location and snow who knows what you can see while having fun driving a snowmobile!

EXPLORING LONDON: PRIMROSE HILL

This is possibly my favourite place in London I found when exploring. I can't believe I had never been here or really known of it before but now I love coming here and try any excuse to.

 

Primrose Hill is next to Regent's Park and London Zoo in North London, you can also walk to and from the markets of Camden Town (which I did read more here ).

Enter the gates to the Hill and the path leads off in many directions all directing you to the top of the Hill or the entering/exiting gates. 

 

I can imagine the Hill in autumn with the auburn leaves falling to the ground.

In winter (hoping that it snows!) the snow on the branches would look beautiful and while walking down the path seeing snow either side covering the grass and the flickering lights in the days that night falls early, the frozen spider webs hanging from the side.

In Spring / Summer, the occasionally hot days we get in London, is beautiful to sit out on the grass and just relax!

 

When you finally get to the top, don't worry the Hill isn't that bad to walk up and if you think you can't just remember the view is totally worth it! Plus there are benches at the top where you can sit and rest while enjoying the view of the London Skyline.

 You can see the whole of the London Skyline right in front you and on a clear sunny day it is amazing!

If anyone visits London this is a must see when exploring and recommend it to anyone visiting.

EXPLORING LONDON: CAMDEN TOWN

Exploring North London, in particular Camden. Filled with market stalls Camden offers a unique experience full of fashion, style, food, drink and art.

The famous Stables Market around Camden:

 Camden Town is so close to Regent's Park where London Zoo is and next to Primrose Hill where you can see amazing views of the London Skyline!

FOODIE TAKE II

I have been wanting to visit Mishkins for months now and finally went the other day. The food was so good I had to write a post about it quick.

The setting of the restaurant reminds me slightly of an American diner with the booths, they even have the stereotypical ketchup and mustard bottles. 

  

As soon as we went they we were seated (we had just beat the lunch rush) and our glasses were topped up with water - which is nice to have as many English restaurants you have to wait and pay for water. Our food didn't take long to come which was good because we were starving!

The food has a Jewish take on it so it's somewhere different to enjoy and I can say the food didn't disappoint with this restaurant in Covent Garden and can see why it's growing more popular. 

Here's the Reuben on Rye and Reuben Burger with a side order of onion rings and 'east end' chips.

I can say everything we ordered was amazing - cooked to perfection but especially the burger with the cheese (WOW!), have to say the best I've tasted!

Will be defiantly going back there! I recommend going if you are in the Covent Garden area and want to try something different. If you've been to Mishkins, what did you think of it?
