A QUICK DAY OUT IN LONDON

I love going into Central London, theres no secret about it, I thought I would share what I did when my family came to London for a quick trip! The first place we went to was Harrods in Knightbridge - I love the area and been passed it many times but can you believe I've never actually been into Harrods?!

After spending ages in Harrods (The Disney Store in particular) looking amazed at everything we headed to Covent Garden. It was a lovely sunny day so after walking around browsing the shops we went to Southbank and grabbed something to eat.

Even though I've been to these areas so many times I never get bored of seeing them again and I always take a picture or two.

Walking around London can get really tiring but then you have enough places to eat to refuel yourself up, maybe even over indulge, (but it's only one day its fine right?!) have a look at this interesting infographic 'to work it off' (Wimbledon style). Let me know what you think! https://www.central-london-apartments.com/blog/how-to-work-off-your-wimbledon-favourites-infographic/

FOODIE TAKE II

I have been wanting to visit Mishkins for months now and finally went the other day. The food was so good I had to write a post about it quick.
The setting of the restaurant reminds me slightly of an American diner with the booths, they even have the stereotypical ketchup and mustard bottles.

As soon as we went they we were seated (we had just beat the lunch rush) and our glasses were topped up with water - which is nice to have as many English restaurants you have to wait and pay for water. Our food didn't take long to come which was good because we were starving!
The food has a Jewish take on it so it's somewhere different to enjoy and I can say the food didn't disappoint with this restaurant in Covent Garden and can see why it's growing more popular.

Here's the Reuben on Rye and Reuben Burger with a side order of onion rings and 'east end' chips.

I can say everything we ordered was amazing - cooked to perfection but especially the burger with the cheese (WOW!), have to say the best I've tasted!

Will be defiantly going back there! I recommend going if you are in the Covent Garden area and want to try something different. If you've been to Mishkins, what did you think of it?

FOODIE TAKE I

Recently I want to try so many different restaurants as I do get bored of going to the same restaurant over and over again.

A few weeks ago I enjoyed a lovely meal at Bills restaurants. I had never been there before and wanted to try somewhere different, so after hearing good reviews about it I decided to finally go.
The setting of their restaurants are a nice chilled out feeling with their own brand of things you could buy such as cookies and jams etc...

Excuse the bad quality images

I had the naked burger which comes with tatziki and a mini salad, a added side of sweet potato fries (my fave) the meal didn't disappoint . For dessert was a strawberry cheesecake and that was just a good - seems like a normal meal but the burger was quality you could taste and not at all dry which can be the case sometimes, and sweet potato fries were cooked just right along with the the cheesecake which was light.

Lovely evening = Lovely meal

I recommend!

Will be going back again, hopefully soon to try out other things on their menu.

Any restaurants you recommend?
