HALLOWEEN LOOK 2015

This is why I love Halloween time, I can experiment with looks and makeup! Other reasons why I love Halloween, read more on my last post 'HALLOWEENTIME'.

 

 

This year I created a skull look which I love:

This look can easily be created with just black and white colours.

 

Using a few reference pictures as inspiration which I just found online, I used some cream make-up I had and black eye shadow for shading to create this.

 

 

What do you do for Halloween?

Halloween preperation has begun. My take on this time of year:

Considering I don't do anything for this time of year (I've only been trick 'o' treating twice) some find it really weird that I like Halloween so much and get excited for it, more than Christmas or birthdays.

I do love this time of year; autumn is my favourite season and Halloween comes with it.

The haunted parties, scary costumes and of course sweets and chocolate.

When you think of Halloween time you think pumpkins, whether you traditionally carve one or not. I've always wanted to get a pumpkin.

You know Autumn is here and winter is not far so a hot cup of coffee/tea when you come inside from the cold weather to warm up is perfect.

WIRELESS FESTIVAL '15 10th Anniversary

I blogged about my first experience last year to a festival (which you can read here). That festival was Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, London which I went to this year again.

 

Last year I went for a day but this year round I experience 3 days including their 10th Anniversary party which I luckily won a pair of tickets with Black XS to go (I couldn't believe it!)

 

 

The run down:

The festival was sponsored by New Look who had a great pop up shop there.

 

 

 

The rides were there just for that day and were a great touch! They should always have it.

 

 

 

 

The likes of Kid Ink, Jhene Aiko, Rita Ora AND Drake were there to name a few!

 

 

 

 

Seeing Rita Ora for the third time, she doesn't disappoint!

 

 

 

 

 

Yes it was the second time seeing Drake! (First time seeing Drake at his Concert here)

 

 

 

 

Fireworks for the anniversary end the day on a high.

 

 

It was a fantastic, fun-filled day and defiantly the best day out of the 3 I went to.

2 HALLOWEEN LOOKS: PART I

 What are you going as for Halloween?

I was inspired by a tutorial I saw on youtube and decided to recreate it. This 'Killer Clown' look I tried using the makeup I had:

 I LOVED the blue hair which I got a coloured hairspray for, first I used the white as my hair is black/brown so when I sprayed the blue the colour payoff would appear much better.

 The (fake) blood I got made the look better and more 'scarier'. I was surprisingly glad of how I recreated this Killer Clown look.

I loved recreating these looks and would wear these looks out for Halloween.
