HALLOWEEN LOOK 2015

This is why I love Halloween time, I can experiment with looks and makeup! Other reasons why I love Halloween, read more on my last post 'HALLOWEENTIME'.

This year I created a skull look which I love:

This look can easily be created with just black and white colours.

Using a few reference pictures as inspiration which I just found online, I used some cream make-up I had and black eye shadow for shading to create this.

What do you do for Halloween?

MAC PAINTERLY PAINT POT REVIEW

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here's to my first post of 2015!

A few weeks ago I Got MAC Painterly Paint Pot which is a flesh-toned colour. If you don't know what MAC Paint Pot is, it is a cream eye shadow, which sets to a matte finish.

I had been eyeing it up for ages now and finally decided to purchase one. Almost everyday since I've got it I have been using it; alone and with other powder eye shadows on top.

This product blends easily and covers veins with a thin layer. It has last me all day without a eyelid primer and great to use everyday for a neutral look, for my NC42-44 skin tone it adds that subtle neutral colour I was looking for.

I've notice a thin layered applied to my lid works great as a single colour. As a base for other eye shadows it works great too however too much of this cream eye shadow applied, it can get creased, settling into the your fine lines.

For the price I think it is worth it and I personally love using this product. Let me know what you think of this product if you have tried it out!

CHRISTMAS WISH LIST 2014

For the past good few years I have always had no idea what I've wanted as a present, for Christmas or for my birthday. I've always said I rather spend and get things during the year instead of waiting for that one moment for that one specific thing because I've never known what I wanted or it hasn't been one specific thing.

This year for Christmas I am actually able to answer "what do you want for Christmas?" However this doesn't mean I am going to get it because the first thing on my list is more 'for the home'. (that's what they said)

Here's my list:

I have been getting into having smoothies recently and the blender I have just doesn't work properly which is really annoying - after hearing so many reviews I do want to get this as it makes smoothies so quickly and the additional cups and holders are handy.

The perfect pair of trainers for the gym and everyday. Love.

I have been wanting some good eye brushes for a long time now and just the basics in this set is ideal to just starting.

4. Money for higher end makeup products and clothes

This is just for general reasons, money is always good as I do save money normally but occasionally would like to splurge out if I had the chance.

I have yet to try this because it is so expensive but with having seen everyone rave about it the past few years I'm still waiting to try it out. I'm glad it has darker shades as well which the higher end makeup products tend to have more of vs the drugstore.

So these are my honest top 5 items. I'm not expecting these items but I have wanted these for so long now... one day I'll get them.

What's on your Christmas list this year?

2 HALLOWEEN LOOKS: PART II

Here's the second look I did!!

I thought I loved the Killer Clown look but then I recreated another:

This look is good for perhaps a zombie look or anything you think really. All I know is this is my favourite look I've done, again using only what I had I was surprised of how it turned out this good.

Adding the (fake) blood made the look 'scarier' and really you just got to add some blood on Halloween, it is Halloween after all.

I loved recreating the looks I did (Killer Clown look was PART I, check it out if you haven't already)

What do you normally do for Halloween? Trick 'o' Treating or going to a party?

2 HALLOWEEN LOOKS: PART I

What are you going as for Halloween?

I was inspired by a tutorial I saw on youtube and decided to recreate it. This 'Killer Clown' look I tried using the makeup I had:

I LOVED the blue hair which I got a coloured hairspray for, first I used the white as my hair is black/brown so when I sprayed the blue the colour payoff would appear much better.

The (fake) blood I got made the look better and more 'scarier'. I was surprisingly glad of how I recreated this Killer Clown look.

I loved recreating these looks and would wear these looks out for Halloween.
